Thinking of applying to study in the US
hi, I am 19 years old and considering going to an American university to play golf and also study, I only have GCCE'S (English C, Maths C, ICT B, P.E B, French B, German C, Leisure & Tourism CC, Science C, Geography B), are these qualifications enough to get me out there? I have been told if i get a Btec qualification its as good as a-level? but this would meen be going to college for a year or so? any help would be hugely helpful.
Thanks for you time, Sam

I'm just coming up to the end of my AS Levels and have started thinking about universities. My Politics teacher mentioned that you get to study a whole variety of subjects at US universities so I had a look online at their universities and have decided that one the the universites I'd like to go to is Columbia University.
When do SATs need to be sat? Can I sit them in the summer alongside my A2s in summer before I'd be going to uni? Can I still apply to some English universities too? For the universites I want to go to in the UK I need three 'A' A Levels, would I still need this if I wanted to study at an Ivy League university?
Thanks.
