Experience
While at Harvard I tutored students from my own high school, BB&N in Cambridge MA, helping both with homework and with standardized test preparation. More recently, I have been supervising undergraduates at Cambridge for my PhD tutor, Duncan Robinson.
Biography
I am originally from just outside Boston, MA. I did my BA at Harvard in history of art, and from there went on to do my MA at the Courtauld Institute in London the following year, with a focus on Florentine and Venetian quattrocento-cinquecento painting. I then worked at Christie's auction house in New York as a specialist in Old Master paintings. I am currently in my third year as a PhD at Cambridge, where I am studying British Grand Tour period landscape painting in Italy. Ultimately I hope to work either as an art dealer or as a museum curator.
Personal Approach
I am very familiar with the college application process, having grown up with a number of family members working for the Harvard Admissions committee! I worked part-time in the Undergraduate Admissions office as a student, and have since graduation volunteered as an alumni interviewer. I'll do my best to guide students in the right direction without writing the applications for them.
